Introduction to the symfony framework

Begin developing symfony powered web applications with us. At the end of the
day, you will have completed your first running prototype app.
You will take the first steps with symfony with the help of our experienced
staff. We are going to cover topics such as:
- Setup of symfony projects
- Structure of symfony
- Basic database handling using the Doctrine ORM
- Configuration
- The form framework
- How to use the mailer
- Deployment to production servers
In addition to presenting the course material, our trainers are going to
help with any specific questions you may have.
For this class, it is required that you bring your own notebook with a
basic up and running PHP development environment, including Apache 2,
PHP 5.2.4 or newer, and a Mysql server. You will find both wired and
wireless Internet access in the classroom.
Non-alcoholic drinks and lunch are included.
In case too few participants we will announce an alternative course date
in advance.
